England 2012
Students of Year 7 and 8 went on a very special journey to Eastbourne, a beautiful and nice city next to the sea in Southern England. The 30 students spent eight days there to improve their English and to get in touch with British history and culture. All of them stayed at host families and "lived" together with them. In the mornings they had English classes. After learning and speaking a lot of English they went on several trips with their three teachers: to Eastbourne (town tour…), to Brighton (Sea Life Centre…) and to Hastings (Smuggler's Cave…)
One sunny afternoon they even hiked high cliffs called "Beachy Head" to get a great view on a lighthouse and the Channel. On Saturday the whole group had a lovely and interesting day in the city of London where they went on a sightseeing tour by bus and by boat!
All in all it was a wonderful and exciting week and most of them will never forget!
